While on site....
We ask while the students are on our grounds to respect the buildings, artifacts, and any staff they may encounter. We strive to preserve these grounds and the history involved for your students and any future visits from you and other groups. Please remind your students that there is no running, shouting, or touching artifacts (unless instructed) while at the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society.
We also ask that while on site, teachers are actively involved with their students. Therefore, we ask that you turn off your cell phone, do not bring MP3 players or IPod's onsite or anything that may be a distraction to your students. This also applies to your students. We want to be able to emerge the students in a historical experience, without modern interferences.
