Gina Marie Jackson

Gina Marie Jackson is a recent University of Miami Communication/Journalism graduate.  She enjoys the field of Communication because of the versatility that it gives you in the work force.  One of her highlights from college was an opportunity to work for CNN during their coverage of the 2004 Presidential Debate. Gina assisted producers, coordinated guest appearances and interviews, aided the anchors in preparation for their shows, etc. Another memorable moment for Gina was interviewing the Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Larry Coker and holding the Hurricane’s National Title Football in her hands. Here at the Historical Society, Gina is responsible for public relations, assisting in fundraising and special events, communications and community outreach.
